“Juneteenth”

by Former Dallas Cowboy Greg Ellis
Jun 9, 2018 - 7 PM

Irving Art Center - Dupree Theater

The story of how love, faith, and prayer between a Texas slave-women name Tippy and a Texas slave man named Henry sustained them through slavery, even for the additional two and a half years that Texas kept their slaves. This stage play is an eye opener, guaranteed to keep you on the edge of your seat as the history of Juneteenth is revealed. In addition, this production also provides answers to why residue from slavery has such a negative impact on society today

General admission tickets are $30, with a limited number of VIP tickets priced at $40.  VIP tickets offer early backstage access, preferred seating and photos with Greg Ellis after the show.
